Questions about the bill

What counts as an active job?

One open line item on an online order. A job stops counting the moment it is marked done, its line is fulfilled in Shopify, or the order is cancelled. A tote ordered four times is one job with quantity four. POS and draft orders never become jobs.

What happens at 25 on Free?

The 26th job is held with a note on the queue and the plan page. It is not lost; upgrade, or finish a job, and it joins the queue.

Can I move between plans?

Yes, both ways, from the plan page inside Shopify. Downgrading below your active-job count holds the newest jobs until you are under the cap. A cancelled paid plan stays in effect until the end of the period you already paid for.

How does the trial work?

A paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial the first time a store subscribes. Shopify bills nothing until the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing. A store that cancels and subscribes again does not get a second trial.

Is anything metered — emails, proofs, orders?

No. One flat price, however many proofs, emails, run sheets or orders. The active-job cap is the only difference between the plans, and no plan is per seat.
